We don’t really know when “local” became revolutionary. When a backyard garden became a luxury, and sipping coffee in peace became a privilege. When the things that were once just normal suddenly became “a concept.” Maybe what we’ve forgotten… was always the most valuable.

In the world of fashion, where everything is often measured by trends, seasonal changes, and delivery speed, the word soul is rarely mentioned. Even less so – silence, slowness, community, and what truly makes us feel fulfilled.

When you create something with your hands, every stitch is a quiet decision — to keep going. Such quiet yet bold decisions stood behind the application of VUNENA, a Serbian women-led initiative, to the competition "Ideas for a Better Tomorrow", organized by Smart Kolektiv and the Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation.

In September 2024, I had the honor of being a guest on the national TV show Sarenica on RTS, as a kind of prelude to the PADURI brand's fashion show within the Milena Tatar - Healthy Food Fair in Sopot.

April 2024 is marked in PADURl's journal as the moment we stepped into the world of Milan Design Week, as part of the beautifully curated exhibition Sakti Sphere - Holistic Sanctuary, hosted by Casa Covini.
