From Serbia to Matera: A Story of Talent, Fashion, and New Opportunities.
From July 6 to 12, 2026, Matera, a UNESCO World Heritage site, once again gathered young fashion designers from various countries for the milestone 15th edition of the international event Premio Moda® Città dei Sassi.
This year, Serbia’s presence on this stage was stronger than ever. Through the project Paduri per Premio Moda® Serbia Edition, launched by the brand Paduri, nine designers from Serbia got the opportunity to present their collections to an international audience in Italy.
We owe special thanks to UNESCO and the "Culture and Creativity for the Western Balkans" (CC4WBs) program, funded by the European Union, for supporting the Paduri per Premio Moda® Serbia Edition project. Thanks to this support, young designers from Serbia had the chance to present their work on an international stage and take their first steps toward the European market.

Deep Winter
Capsule Collection
Koshtana and Paduri meet halfway between the pastures of Homolje and the city’s stone pavement.
From this line emerges Deep Winter,
a capsule made of local wool, conceived as a winter armor for Balkan women who refuse transience.
The concepts and handcraft are signed by Paduri, a studio from eastern Serbia, from the Homolje region,
which translates Italian-trained design into the language of domestic wool.
Koshtana leads the creative direction, branding, and quality control, and provides the platform
where these pieces meet their audience — quietly, thoughtfully, without excess words.
Crafted in the heart of Serbia, our creations are more than products — they are stories, patiently made by hand, rooted in place, spirit, and legacy.
“We are very grateful that we have gotten to know Milica and have been working together for 5 years. She understands very well how to transform our art and fashion ideas into unique hand-knit pieces. Our customers are in love with the beautiful crafted items.”
